A Growing Place

Our Preschool Ministry exists to plant the seeds of the Gospel and shape the growth of our youngest worshipers.

We have several classes on Sunday mornings where little ones are safe, loved and well-cared for. Older children will have a gospel-focused, fun lesson. Playdates and other special events are held throughout the year to build relationships for both children and parents.

Elementary Ministry

Our Elementary Ministry exists to teach children the fundamentals of the Christian faith in a fun and safe environment.

Our age-appropriate teaching environments on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am point the students to Christ and show how faith looks as it is worked out in our lives. Special events throughout the year provide opportunities for our students to bring friends while they grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while having fun!

During worship we offer an option for K - 3rd Grade to be released before the sermon to a Catechism JR class - that is going through the New City Catechism.

BPC Youth

Our Youth Ministry exists to see our youth growing and thriving in these three important areas: communion with God, community with God’s people, and confidence in God’s Word.

We aim to accomplish this through digging deeply into God’s Word during our weekly gatherings, as well as through monthly events, building relationships with parents, and a handful of memorable retreats and trips sprinkled throughout the year!

A BPC Parish is a group of people based on geographical regions designed to facilitate connecting, caring, and community within our church family.

Connecting- Each individual that worships at BPC is assigned to a Parish based on where they live. Individuals can find out which Parish they are in by checking the Parish map or, once activated, checking their profile on the BPC Breeze web portal. Parish leaders coordinate quarterly opportunities for gathering, fun, and fellowship.

Caring- Parishes are the first line of congregational care in our church family, coordinating activities ranging from providing meals for new families to providing for families mourning the loss of a loved one.

Community- Each Parish includes at least one Elder on the BPC Session. As the shepherds of our congregation, Elders routinely pray for and pour into the community of believers at BPC.

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

1 Peter 1:23

We believe God’s Word does not return void and is useful for equipping God’s people. The last Wednesday of three months each semester, we gather for a simple supper, a seminar and children’s programs. This Fall (2024) our focus is Celebrating Christianity Explored (the Gospel of Mark).  Sign up here. for September 25.

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

Romans 15:7

Our Community Meals are a GREAT TIME for fellowship and relationship development. These are monthly old-fashion pot-luck lunches after worship.

Our Fall Community Meals are on Sundays, September 22, October 27 and November 24.

BPC Youth Soccer League

The purpose of the BPC Youth Soccer League is twofold.  First, we desire to share the transforming love of Jesus Christ throughout the Blythewood community by providing a sports ministry to our youth and families.  Second, we desire to provide a fun way for the youth in our community to stay active while learning the fundamentals of the game of soccer.
